Absolutely! An event planner in your desired event location will know the ins and outs, tips and tricks of hosting your type of event and can suggest the venues that would bring your vision to life. Permits, sound ordinances, vendor restrictions, waste removal, transportation restrictions, necessary rental items, and so many more details that you might run into or overlook can be anticipated and handled by an experienced event planner. Your planner will also be able to suggest the ideal vendors for you and can help you weigh various options.
Should I hire an Event Planner before I book my vendors?
No! You can have as much or as little involvement in the planning of the event as you would like. Some clients find planning stressful & overwhelming, and love the idea of showing us their vision and preferences, and then hand the reins over to us to do the majority of the planning. Others want to be heavily involved in planning with our team by their side, guiding them every step of the way.
Does hiring a Full-Service Planner mean I don't get to have any involvement in the planning process?
You can do what you want with your wedding, however, in order to work with our planning company, we require that certain services for your wedding are provided by licensed, professional, hired vendors that provide written service agreements. This ensures the happiness, safety, reliability, and ease of our team to collaborate in bringing your event together. We also believe that you, your family, and your friends will be happier to enjoy your event, instead of trying to run it.
Can I have my friends and family do things for the wedding instead of hiring some vendors and staff?
In actuality, day-of coordination does not exist. There are so many details and logistics to hosting an event, that it is impossible to have someone come in right before your event and be able to run everything. The industry should really stop using this term, because it is confusing to clients. For the benefit of us and our clients, we do not offer "day-of" or even month-of coordination for any events. We want your day to run smoothly and in order for that to happen, time for organizing and planning is required
